Back to Basics

I've come to accept that I spend a lot of time reading other people's blogs and not spending enough time getting mine going. I will put in a much bigger effort this time around.

For those that used to read my blog you'll notice the entries are gone. It was too long since I last posted here so I've started over and moved the old entries to my hard drive.

What I'd like not to do this time around (but I know will creep into my writings at some point) are subjects pertaining to the following:

1. Work. I spend enough time there that I will do my best not to consume time writing about it. It'll be hard as I spend more time working than I do anything else.
2. Family. I will reference things but as some may read my blog, I'll avoid making it too personal.
3. Politics. I have opinions on a lot of things political but its best saved for a live rant. Political topics will pop-up in my blog inevitably but I'll try to limit it.
4. I'll avoid using names directly, although many will figure out quite easily who I'm talking about... I'm not as cryptic as I used to be.

The most important thing to get here is that this blog is a part of my life but it is not my life. Many things will not come up here but I'm hoping that this will help people stay in touch with me in a small way. Yeah, yeah, I'm terrible at returning those phone calls...
