Oh For The Love of Hockey!

Okay, the preseason is over and my Canucks are not looking good. I miss Bertuzzi, make no mistake about that, but I understand the need for change - for the team and for him. I think Carter was a dumbass for signing elsewhere and Bourdon is not living up to his hype. Mitchell is nothing so far but on the one bright side, Bulis looks as if he was a good pickup from Montreal.

Yet, they are sucking. 2 wins in 8 games and one was through a shoot out.

I hope Luongo figures out the Western way of playing because he ain't worth the 6 million we're paying him so far. But I have faith he'll adjust quickly.

Yeah, yeah. Preseason, counts for nothing, I know it. Hell, Chicago is on a roll - and everyone knows they won't be lifting the cup. Preseason means nothing and I shouldn't read too much into it.

Unfortunately this wasn't the start I wanted to see. The lines are just not sticking - no glue to be found, confidence looks low. Some players look too out of place. Although Linden is back and he looks good. Yeah Trevor!

Oh, and what's with the lawsuit against the NHLPA? Let it gooooo. Klatt, you're done. Chelios, you should be. Roloson, you have to play with these people - way to fit in. Get a life boys - move the hell on. Hockey's back, the cap sucks but a necessary evil for now.
